ABout Shrimp Joy
Hi, my name is Kim. I initially made shrimp lollies for my own shrimp aquariums because I couldn’t find anywhere reasonable to buy them. Then I gave some away as a thank you gift to a local aquarium store owner, and they suggested that I should sell them. I started making shrimp lollies together with my husband in our living room, doing the design, packaging, and everything ourselves. With a full-time job outside of making shrimp lollies, I still make sure to take time to enjoy my own shrimp aquariums.
Currently I keep red Sakura cherries, yellow goldenbacks, blue velvets, and a wild tank which I also put any shrimps I remove to preserve selective breeding in the main tanks.
Something about watching my shrimps eat and swim gives me such happiness that Shrimp Joy was the most logical name right from the start.
